BEFORE YOU BREW

Before you choose

Do berry and floral notes mean added flavorings?

Berry, floral and similar notes describe flavors the coffee may remind you of; they are not added ingredients. Perception varies between people and with grind, water amount and temperature. You do not have to taste every note to enjoy your cup.

How do I find the right brew for my first bag?

Start with your usual brewer and method. Weigh the coffee and water, then note the grind and how the cup tastes. Change one variable at a time for the next cup. Pour-over and espresso need different settings; tell us your equipment if you would like help.

Should I try whole beans or drip bags?

Choose beans if you enjoy adjusting your grind and brewing method. Choose a matching single drip bag for convenience or a small first taste. Different extraction conditions mean the two formats will not taste exactly the same.

Can you grind the beans for me?

Yes. Choose the grind for your equipment above and check it in your cart. Espresso grind varies by machine and basket. If unsure, ask us。
